Articles October 23, 2004, The New York Post

With over ten years in the real estate business, having started out as a rentals agent at Dwelling Quest and quickly moving into sales, Jeff Silverstein is now a top-agent at Century 21 NY Metro since it acquired DQ.

Having won: Centurion Producer '06 and '07 in Century 21 worldwide and has been a Top Producer in both sales and top transactions consistently in the last few years, it is clear Jeff loves real estate and enjoys assisting people in finding their homes. Considering it is the biggest investment most people will ever make, he wants them to love where they live and makes sure his clients never “settle” for something they don’t absolutely adore, while maintaining realistic expectations.

Jeff attributes his success to being detail oriented, but not the typical “pushy” agent. He lets the client determine the pace. He also feels no deal is ever too small—he is equally happy to work with starter studios or luxury townhouses. His business is a continuing one, meaning that he becomes a fixture throughout your life, starting from your first purchase and continuing as you live and grow, working to assist you in making a profit from your sale and garnering your next big purchase seamlessly.

Having bought and sold many apartments himself in NYC, he knows firsthand how confusing it could be to both buy and sell. His personal experience has taught him how to navigate the intricacies of the industry and can guard his client from any anxiety or pitfall.

Prior to real estate, Jeff was in retail where he was an Operations manager for the Century 21 Department Stores for five years, overseeing a staff of 150. He attended SUNY Binghampton and then transferred to the University of Florida at Gainesville where he graduated with a BS in Business and Computer Science. He was a member of the Alpha Epsilon Pi Frat.

He volunteers for “In God We Deliver” helping ill people who can’t physically make themselves meals; they deliver approximately 1200 meals per day.

He is also the proud father of two girls: Jordyn, 13 and Lyndsey, 10 and currently lives in Chelsea.
