| Ilene has an extensive background in commercial real estate. Prior to joining Century 21 NY Metro, Ilene spent 5 years at Manhattan Commercial Realty where she successfully negotiated and closed many leasing transactions.
She also spent 15+ years with The Helmsley Organization (Helmsley-Spear and Helmsley-Noyes) where she was involved in all aspects of commercial real estate. As Managing Director and Leasing Agent for a trophy Helmsley property, Ilene was responsible for all leasing activity and managing day-to-day operations. Additionally she has strong ties and relationships with the entire brokerage community.
Ilene began her business career in Public Relations. She worked at two large Public Relations
firms where she was involved with a diversified group of clients ranging from business services to fashion.
Ilene completed her undergraduate studies at New York University. She is one of those rare individuals who was born, raised and educated in Manhattan and continues to reside in the ‘City’. On the weekends, she and her husband enjoy the beach and country at their home in East Hampton.
