A veteran of New York Real Estate since 1973, Marc has been involved in residential and commercial real estate since he first entered the industry answering a New York Times “Help Wanted” ad for a rental agent with L.D. Gardner Realty. He moved up to full partner within a few years, expanding the firm’s relationships across the spectrum of real estate services, which generated his interest in owning and developing real estate buildings and units. Over the years, he bought, renovated and sold many properties as both owner and broker, which led to the owning and co-managing of residential sales firm Gardner Stevens throughout the 1970s and 80s. He found his own firm in 1988, Marc Lewis Realty, which was known for selling buildings and development sites across the Upper East Side and conducting a large volume of residential rental transactions.

In 2007, Marc joined Century 21 NY Metro as its COO to build the Century 21 brand in the New York City market through his experience and long-established industry relationships. Promoted a year later to President, Marc hand selected the growing management team, hiring hands-on, industry veterans, then, capitalizing on the surging rental market, augmented the agent ranks with experienced rental agents known for attention to client service and turned a greater attention to developing new technology both for internal use by agents working with clients and by the public and fellow agents seeking residential and commercial properties.
